Nudity between the words that are murmured
Shames the eyes of the heart.
The void in substance creates boredom among

Why keep lying to one another?
We never could get our words to come out right.
Comedy is all we can be, so let’s replace conversation
With laughter. The brightness in your smile speaks
More than your mouth ever could to me.

Our conversations sparks flares and they burn up all the
Moss on the trees that create a forest of things that we
Could talk about, but our mouths got caught up and tangled
In the branches and eventually those are on fire too.
And as we struggle to keep our cool, our jaws unhinge

Have meaning. And by the time that we are through, our lips
Burn and turn to ashes that we can chew. Our teeth are all that’s
